Position Title: Intern - Project Management
Department: Project, Programme Management Department (PMD)
Reports To: Manager – Projects
Job Purpose
The Programme Management Intern will support the PMD in the planning, execution, and monitoring of regulatory and strategic projects. This internship is designed as a talent incubation opportunity, providing hands-on experience in project management and exposure to MGA’s operations, with the potential for further opportunities within MGA.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring ongoing projects.
• Support the updating and maintenance of the project management system.
• Collect and document risks, issues, and lessons learned from project teams.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports and risk logs.
• Participate in project meetings, workshops, and reviews.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders..
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Undertake other tasks as delegated by the Manager – Projects.
Requirements
• Currently pursuing a Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Accounts, Economics, Criminology, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to MGA’s mission.
• Familiarity with project management software is an asset.
