Position Title: Intern - Human Resources

Job Purpose
To support the HR team in delivering initiatives across key areas including learning and development, employee engagement, and HR operations. The intern will gain exposure to all areas of HR and its practices, contributing to projects that enhance the employee experience while assisting with day-to-day activities. This role provides an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of HR within a high-performing, employee-focused environment.
Key Accountabilities/Key Activities
Assist in preparing HR communications, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders.
Coordinate HR activities with internal teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Assist with learning and development initiatives, including workshops, training sessions, and internal programmes.
Support employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture and team cohesion.
Contribute to HR projects, such as policy reviews, HR reporting, and process improvements.
Assist with recruitment-related tasks and other HR initiatives.
Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks as needed.
Support HR in identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance team efficiency and employee experience.
Technical/Professional Expertise
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (MQF level 6 or equivalent) in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and a curiosity for understanding HR processes, workforce trends, and organisational development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and highly organised.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Enthusiasm for HR strategy, employee engagement, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
