Position Title: Intern – PR and Communications
Department: Human Resources & PR and Communications
Reports to: PR and Communications Manager
Job Purpose
To support the PR and Communications team by creating visually compelling content that aligns with the MGA brand and messaging.
Key Accountabilities/Key Activities
• Collaborate with the PR and Communications team to create engaging graphic content for various platforms, including social media, website, internal noticeboards, and other marketing materials.
• Assist in developing visual concepts for communication strategies.
• Design infographics, banners, posters, newsletters, and other materials.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance our PR and communications efforts.
• Other tasks as instructed by the PR and Communications Manager.
Technical/Professional Expertise
• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout techniques.
• Excellent visual storytelling and creativity skills.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
