Overview

Position Title: Senior Technical Analyst - Authorisations
Department: Authorisations – Regulatory Directorate
Reports to: Manager – Authorisations

Job Purpose

As a Senior Technical Analyst - Authorisations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding the review and processing of various applications, contributing significantly to the growth and compliance of gaming operators under the Authority.

Key Accountabilities/Key Activities


• Lead the review of technical documentation submitted by gaming operators, evaluating applications for new licenses, and ensuring operational policies, information security, gaming systems, and agreements meet stringent standards.
• Conduct comprehensive system and compliance audit reports, overseeing live studio inspections both locally and overseas.
• Lead meetings with prospective applicants, providing expert guidance and insight.
• Direct and conduct special investigations or other assignments, including on-site inspections overseas, ensuring thoroughness and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Ensure the achievement of goals and functions of the Authority and the Department, upholding professional standards rigorously.
• Collaborate effectively with other Departments as necessary, fostering a cohesive working environment.
• Oversee and delegate duties/tasks as instructed by the management team, ensuring efficient and effective execution.

Technical/Professional Expertise


• Possess a Diploma or equivalent qualification in areas related to computer science, information systems, business, finance, or accounting.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development, with recognized certifications like CISA or equivalent.
• Previous experience in information systems and financial auditing is essential, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior analysts effectively.
• Proficiency in identifying high-risk areas, presenting findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Exhibit a strong sense of ownership and accountability, showcasing motivation, professionalism, and exceptional communication skills.
